These cushions are unique designs; beautiful, cool, contemporary, ergonomic body-based, forms. The slipcovers, made from high quality durable silk and chenille are removable for laundering. There are two parts; THE FLOOR MAT, for protection of your ankles and knees, is filled with cotton batting and THE SEAT CUSHION, filled with buckwheat hulls, conforms to your individual body, settling in to provide solid, steady support to the lower back and spine.

DESIGNER BARBARA GALLUCCI is a Brooklyn based sculptor and photographer. Her work, ranging in scale from autonomous objects to large-scale installation, is an examination of the intersections between Sculpture, Furniture and Interior Design. She has exhibited extensively in New York across the U.S. and in Europe. She is the recipient of numerous Fine Art grants, awards and critical reviews. She earned her MFA at Yale in 1987. And is currently a professor of sculpture at the School of the Museum of Fine Art in Boston.
